Dr. Courtney Miller-Reid
Dr. Courtney Miller-Reid was born in Germany at a time when her father, Dr. Dennis Miller, was stationed there. She would go on to live in Farmington Hills and West Bloomfield while growing up. Dr. Miller-Reid was one of just four people who were accepted into the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry accelerated six-year program, which led to her receiving both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery. Upon graduating, she was one of just six people to receive the Francis B. Vedder Society award in Crown and Bridge treatments.
In recognition of her work and postdoctoral training in implant dentistry. Dr. Miller-Reid received a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in May 2012. She also received a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, a recognition of having taken more than 500 hours of postdoctoral training and passing an extensive licensing examination. Dr. Miller-Reid’s skills in dentistry and patient care helped her secure recognition from Hour Magazine’s Top Dentists every year from 2012 through 2019.
Dr. Miller-Reid met her husband, Dr. Nicholas Reid, while the two were at school at the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry. The two have each been a part of the Endodontic Study Club, a program focused on all aspects of root canal therapy.
Dr. Nicholas Reid
Dr. Nicholas Reid is a Michigan native who grew up in Livonia, MI. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Detroit-Mercy with a Bachelor of Science degree, and was chosen to be the honorary banner carrier for the College of Engineering and Science on Graduation Day. He then attended dental school at the University of Detroit-Mercy.
In May 2012, Dr. Reid was awarded a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, an acknowledgement of his postdoctoral work in the field of implant dentistry. He has also received a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor that represents his completion of more than 500 hours of postdoctoral training and the passing of an extensive licensing exam. Hour Magazine recognized him as a Top Dentist each year between 2012 and 2019.
Dr. Reid met his wife, Dr. Courtney Miller-Reid, while attending dental school at the University of Detroit-Mercy. Along with his wife, Dr. Reid belongs to the Endodontic Study Club, a program committed to the study of all aspects of root canal therapy.
Outside The Office
Dr. Reid and Dr. Miller-Reid met during dental school, and they’ve been proud to build their lives together while supporting the health of Farmington families. The couple have five children: Hannah, twins Travis and Serena, Bryce, and Whitney, as well as two dogs. They love spending time with their littles ones at home and taking them out for fun road trips. When they’re not in the office, the pair also enjoy golfing and fishing.
